D.A.R.E. America Youth Advocacy Board Member from South Carolina
“Learn to love without condition. Talk without bad intention. Give without any reason. And most of all, care for people without any expectation.”
Brianna was born in Lexington, SC, and is a graduate of the D.A.R.E. program. Her platform is Bullying and Suicidal Awareness and Building Self-Esteem through accepting her uniqueness just being “me” which gives strength to her mission to bring awareness to others about drugs, bullying, suicide, and peer pressure.
As South Carolina D.A.R.E. representative, Brianna is involved in her community through volunteering and speaking at various places, including being an active member of her church community, as well as helping at Harvest Hope and Back Pack for the homeless. She is also a member of the marching band at her school, the Junior Civitan Organization, the church choir, and the symphonic. She plays the piano, and has been inducted into the Beta Club and the National Honor Society.
Brianna was recognized for her community support for raising money and items at LMSC and received the Scholar Award.
Brianna would like to major in psychology and become a teacher. Her goal is to work with every school administrator to start the D.A.R.E. program in high schools. She also would like to implement her program BSAS (Bullying and Suicidal Awareness and Self-esteem) at her school for students who need emotional support.
Brianna loves writing, bowling, singing, loves to volunteer, and loves spending time with her favorite person – her mom – and her friends. She is very honored to be part of the D.A.R.E. America Youth Advocacy Board.
