One of her students, Mark, who was unable to attend, due to not being able to get transportation to pick up his certificate and graduation t-shirt, did not need to worry as his D.A.R.E. Officer went above and beyond to ensure Mark was not left out.
Constable Newton who is a motorcycle certified officer decided to personally deliver his graduation gifts to him personally. Needless to say, Mark was overjoyed when his D.A.R.E. Officer arrived at his home. “He was just such a great student, always engaged, I just wanted to make sure he was included” commented Constable Newton.
Congratulations to both for a job well done.
