Carley Keller, D.A.R.E.’s 2021 Louis “Skip” Miller National Scholarship Recipient
Hey y’all! My name is Carley Keller. I am from Harrisburg, North Carolina. I represented the state of NC on the D.A.R.E. Youth Advocacy Board. I am the daughter of Crecia and David Keller.

I graduated high school in 2021. Throughout my years in high school I was involved in Varsity Cheerleading where I served as captain, Beta Club, Student Council, Mu Alpha Theta, broadcasting team, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cabarrus County, and the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation. As I served on the D.A.R.E. Youth Advocacy Board I was able to accomplish many projects, such as creating the NC D.A.R.E. Instagram and getting the D.A.R.E. program in various schools. I am so blessed and honored to be the 2021 recipient of the D.A.R.E. America Louis “Skip” Miller National Scholarship.

I am attending Appalachian State University in the Fall to pursue Multimedia Broadcasting & Journalism. I hope to become a sideline reporter and work for ESPN. I am so grateful for the opportunities I’ve had with the D.A.R.E. program. It has been the absolute best experience and I’ve met the most amazing people. I will cherish the memories with this program forever.
