The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is the provincial police service here (similar to the US State Police) and have been involved with D.A.R.E. for 20 years.
The main sponsor for the program is the provincial hockey team known as the Newfoundland ‘Growlers’. This is a farm team of the Toronto Maple Leafs.
