$750 includes 80-hour training, classroom materials, light breakfast, hot lunch, and daily snacks, Monday – Friday.
Travel, lodging and dinner are at your own expense. We use Hampton Inn Joliet – I-55 for training needs and they provide a full hot breakfast daily. Hotel costs are generally under $100 per night based off current governmental agreement – subject to change.

The Oklahoma D.A.R.E. Officer Training seminar is scheduled for July 15-26, 2019.
The training will be held at the Wyndham Garden Hotel Oklahoma City Airport, located at 2101 S. Meridian, OKC, OK 73108.
Once you have completed this training you will be able to teach:
- D.A.R.E. Program in Kindergarten through 4th grade, 5th and 6th grade
- The New Jr. High Program Keeping It Real.
Since this is an intense two-week training, we require that all participants stay at the hotel if you are more than 40 miles from the training site. The seminar will require many out-of-classroom hours for preparation. All classroom sessions are mandatory for certification.
Registration Options (prices are per person)
Shared Room
Registration is $600 and includes hotel accommodations with a roommate of the same gender for 10 nights, with breakfast buffet each morning.
Private Room (Weekend check-out)
Registration fee of $1,200 includes hotel accommodations with no roommate for 10 nights with breakfast buffet each morning.
Private Room (With weekend)
Registration fee of $1,300 includes hotel accommodations with no roommate for 12 nights and breakfast buffet each morning.
Meals and transportation are each agency’s responsibility.
Applicants must be full-time commissioned/sworn officers with at least two years of law-enforcement experience. If you have less than two years’ experience, you will have to apply for a waiver. Please read the attached seminar information sheet before selecting your D.A.R.E. Officer applicant. The forms must be completed and returned as soon as possible. The slots available for this training are on a first come first serve basis.

Out-of-state applicants only:
The State Coordinator in your state will need to sign off on the Inter-Regional before you can be accepted into the training.
Because our requests for training far exceed the number of officers we can train, your slot cannot be guaranteed until we receive your application and purchase order/check. Please return the application and above forms immediately.
