A D.A.R.E. essay winner board was installed this year in the Village of Palmetto Bay. The project was the brainchild of Officer Peter Judge and was executed by Officers Judge, Kevin Collins, and Mercy Rodriguez. The three schools that participated in the installation of the D.A.R.E. essay winner board were:

  • Coral Reef Elementary School (Village of Palmetto Bay, Florida)– Officer Kevin Collins
  • Howard Drive Elementary School (Village of Palmetto Bay, Florida) – Officer Peter Judge
  • Perrine Elementary School (Village of Palmetto Bay, Florida)– Officer Mercy Rodriguez

Officer Peter Judge of the Miami-Dade Police Department said, “We are very proud of the work we were able to do in getting this project off the ground and even more proud of our essay winners who will have the opportunity to see their names displayed for their excellent work.”
