Surprise Elementary School will host a parent presentation by notMYkid on Thursday, November 20, 2014, at 6 p.m., on the topic of Internet safety. notMYkid is a non-profit organization with the vision that “Every kid will have the knowledge and confidence to reach their full potential through making positive life choices.”

This presentation will offer information and education for parents on how to navigate the Internet safely using many forms of modern technology. Topics discussed: online predators, child identity theft, social networking, sexting, and cyber bullying.

All parents and/or community members are encouraged to attend and receive the most current information related to Internet safety. Due to the nature of the topics, children are not permitted.
