D.A.R.E. Youth Advocacy Board Member from Canada

Hi! My name is Jenna Boardman, and I am pleased to be the new YAB member for D.A.R.E. I was born in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, and live with my Mom, Dad, and younger brother.

I’m an active member of the Corner Brook Rapids swim club where I enjoy speed swimming six times a week and competing in events all across Newfoundland. Currently I am attending Grade nine in Corner Brook Intermediate School where I am in the late French immersion program. I also enjoy taking part in student council within my school, and helping out at my community church. I’m also a proud member of the Qalipu First Nations.

In Newfoundland the D.A.R.E program was first introduced to me in Grade six by Const. Bob Edwards. I look forward to be working beside Const. Shawna Park throughout our community and I know this will be an amazing experience and the opportunity of a lifetime.

Being in this position is truly honoring and I am looking forward to representing Canada.
