Kailey Boswell
D.A.R.E. America Youth Advocacy Board Member from Idaho
Hello! My name is Kailey Boswell. I attend Sugar Salem High School in Sugar City, Idaho.
I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and recently finished serving in youth leadership in my congregation. I am the second oldest of six siblings and help out quite a bit at home. My father’s work has taken us to live in several different states including Kansas, Utah, Ohio, and Colorado. I now reside in Idaho and have the unique opportunity of being a youth advocacy representative here in Idaho.
I try to work hard both at home and at school. I always try to get good grades in my class so it can help me with my future. I am not much of an athlete but I love to act and be in plays. I have been in five plays and that includes one musical. Acting is my favorite thing to do and whenever I get the chance, I am up on that stage doing what I love. I also enjoy doing arts and crafts (Even though I may not be very good at it). Another thing I love to do is bake and cook. Whenever I get the chance, I take baked treats to neighbors and friends. I love seeing them smile and making their day just a little bit better.
Being a member of the D.A.R.E. Youth Advocacy Board is an amazing opportunity to make a difference in the world. Staying away from drugs and violence has always been important to me. I want to help my community to realize that too.
