MISTIE BELL-RENFRO

Mistie Bell-Renfro serves as the Vice President of Development / Product Management Director at D.A.R.E. America. Prior to joining D.A.R.E. America in 1999, Mistie worked extensively in marketing and the fashion industry after studying business at Pasadena City College.

As Vice President, Mistie works directly alongside D.A.R.E. America’s CEO and President and D.A.R.E.’s President of Development. She is responsible for directing, developing, and executing fund development opportunities through strategic approaches to securing major gifts, corporate donations, grant solicitation, and in-kind resources, as well as developing and responding to new partnership proposals and project concepts.

She has worked with major corporations including Fruit of the Loom and Kreshemir to establish in-store donation programs. Utilizing her years in the fashion industry, Mistie has collaborated with major brands in designing and marketing contemporary, fashionable D.A.R.E. clothing for youth.

Mistie manages and coordinates both internal and external resources to spearhead multiple projects that generate quantifiable and successful results. Her efforts have included a successful collaboration with Pharma, the F.D.A, and the D.E.A. to develop prevention curricula for OTC and Rx abuse and misuse. Mistie also maintains the diligent monitoring and protection of D.A.R.E.’s trademark.

Mistie is responsible for conceiving and coordinating D.A.R.E.’s International Training conference that takes place annually in cities throughout the United States and will expand to international locations in the coming years. Mistie’s broad areas of responsibility and the results of her work advance D.A.R.E.’s mission and goals on a daily basis.
