MOLLY ROOTH CORCER
D.A.R.E. Youth Advocacy Board Member from United Kingdom
My name is Molly Rooth Corder and I am proud to represent the UK on the D.A.R.E. Youth Advocacy Board. I participated in the D.A.R.E. program 5 years ago and was inspired by its messages to live a safe and healthy lifestyle and make the right decisions. I am hoping that as a YAB I can help to widen the reach of D.A.R.E. programs in the UK and help develop more life-changing programs.
I live in Nottinghamshire, England with my mum, dad and sister and have just completed my last year of secondary school, I will go to a sixth form in September where I will study either English or Economics! I hope to attend university in the USA in the future. Currently I work at a local theme park. Being involved in the community brings me great satisfaction, and so I have been working as a member of the Nottinghamshire Youth Police commission this year to help strengthen the relations between young people and the police. I love the outdoors and have completed my bronze and silver Duke of Edinburgh awards (I am working towards my gold currently!) these awards combine a variety of different skills including, volunteering, teamwork and navigation they are truly rewarding awards to complete!
I love the D.A.R.E. program and all it stands for, and I cannot wait to be involved in more YAB work in the future!
