The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office, Rio Rancho Police Department, Corrales Police Department, Bernalillo Police Department, and Sandoval County Sheriff’s Office are committed to the youth in their respective communities by teaching the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) curriculum throughout the school year. THey have continued their efforts this summer in partnership with the Garza Family McDonald’s.

The summer camp includes D.A.R.E. curriculum taught by deputies at select Garza Family McDonald’s locations. Participants include youth from the Bernalillo County and the Sandoval County. This program is an unprecedented effort to interact with the youth in collaboration with local businesses and the community.

The Garza Family McDonald’s is hosting the classes and are providing lunch to all participants. The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office, Rio Rancho Police Department, Corrales Police Department/D.A.R.E. Officer, Bernalillo Police Department, and Sandoval County Sheriff’s Office are committed to working alongside the community and the citizens they serve.
