The LCSO was excited to start off the New Year with the first D.A.R.E. America International graduation of 2020 at Newton-Lee Elementary School.

This year the LCSO will hold 60 graduations and will teach D.A.R.E. to over 12,000 elementary and middle schoolers in Loudoun County.

One side note about today’s ceremony was that this was Master Deputy Robert Thomasson’s first graduation as a D.A.R.E. Officer. The last time he was at a D.A.R.E. graduation in #Loudoun was when he was a 5th grader at Guilford Elementary School.

Congratulations to all of the 5th graders!
