We have our advanced recertification training being held for the 2nd year at the Florida Association of School Resource Officers (FASRO) Conference in Bonita Springs, Florida, July 31, 2018 – August 2, 2018. Remember if you haven’t taught D.A.R.E. in the last couple years, you need the recertification training before you can train again!

Second, we have the D.A.R.E. International Conference coming up in July in Orlando! See below for registration and specifics!

WHAT: D.A.R.E. Officer Recertification Training

WHEN: July 31, 2018 – August 2, 2018. Starting time of training each day:  8:00 a.m. Ending time of training each day:  5:00 p.m. (*Half day on Wednesday, August 1, 2018)

WCSO is Teaching Kids to Be Drug Free

Sheriff Kevin crews is bringing back the Drug Abuse Resistance Education program to Washington County schools.

The program hasn’t been taught in Washington County since 2007.

The course was offered to fifth graders at Vernon Elementary School and Kate Smith Elementary School in Chipley.
