The D.A.R.E. Program is active and thriving in Thailand during COVID-19 re-opening of schools.

Pictured in these photos is Police Captain Suphaphan Lamlua, Deputy Inspector General of the Police Investigation Division Region 4 in Mueang District, Khon Kaen Province and her students. The 37 fifth grade students she instructs at Khon Kaen University Demonstration School for Primary Education are shown greeting her as she arrived in class on D.A.R.E. Day by putting their hands together and saying “Sawadee” (Hello).

Captain Lamlua has been involved with the D.A.R.E. Thailand Program for the past 5 years, and is a certified D.A.R.E. and Mentor Officer. It’s great to see the students fully engaged in their D.A.R.E. lesson.

Great job, Captain Lamlua! D.A.R.E. America/International is very pleased to have D.A.R.E. Thailand as one of many partner countries that carry-on the D.A.R.E. mission throughout the globe.
