Dear Mr. Medford,

Thank you for all you do to promote D.A.R.E. program implementation in the communities of America.

During the 2018/2019 school year, we were excited to provide the D.A.R.E. Program for the first time to our 58th and 6th graders. Officer James Saunders from Precinct 1, Baltimore County Police Department, came in each week for 10 weeks to present the program to the students on Monday mornings. This would not have been possibel without a connection made by Mr. Claude Nelson in the Maryland D.A.R.E. Coordinators Office. Mr. Nelson trained Officer Saunders and was able to link us to him to provide the D.A.R.E. Program at St. Mark. IN addition, he provided the D.A.R.E. books for our students free of charge.

We would like to thank you, the D.A.R.E. Program, and Mr. Nelson for bringing much need [sic] drug prevention programming to our students.

We wish you great blessings and success as you lead the D.A.R.E. Northeast Region.

Thank you,

(Signed)
Stephanie Rattell
Principal
