The end of the school year can feel long and grueling.
Summer break stares students in the face but before hitting their months-long vacation, they buckle down for a number of statewide tests and district-level exams. The culmination of a year filled with learning can be stressful for many.
At Lakeview Elementary School, the school recently began celebrating a “WY-TOPP Kick-off Week,” a celebration for students in grades 3-6 who take the statewide tests. The pinnacle of the week came Thursday when Campbell County Sheriff’s Office D.A.R.E. officers visited to compete in the school’s game show “Are You Smarter Than a Lakeview Tiger?”
