Anastyn is participating in the D.A.R.E. program, at Roseau Elementary School, under the direction of the Roseau Police Department. D.A.R.E. Officer Zach Manka entered her poster in the statewide program hosted by Minnesota D.A.R.E., Inc. Anastyn’s poster was selected out of hundreds of posters entered from law enforcement agencies, statewide, and she will be throwing out the opening pitch at the D.A.R.E./Twins game on May 5, 2024. The theme for this year’s contest was “Stronger Together.” In D.A.R.E. we discuss the importance of friendship, positive relationships, good communication, standing up for others, and stopping bullying.
