Por quase quarenta anos, D.A.R.E. tem se dedicado à segurança, saúde e bem-estar dos alunos. D.A.R.E. é o programa de educação em prevenção mais abrangente e amplamente ensinado no mundo. Mais de 3 milhões de alunos de ensino fundamental e médio em toda a América e 29 outros países recebem currículos comprovados e baseados em evidências do D.A.R.E. a cada ano.
A 35ª edição da Conferência Internacional de Treinamento D.A.R.E., realizada em conjunto com o School Safety Advocacy Council, fornecerá aos Instrutores, SROs, educadores e tomadores de decisão, informações vitais e ferramentas de prevenção para ajudar a preparar, lidar e responder às crises significativas de saúde e segurança que estudantes, policiais e escolas enfrentarão em 2023 e anos seguintes.
Esses incluem:
- Aumentos significativos no abuso de substâncias, particularmente o abuso de opióides;
- As consequências para a saúde e segurança do uso vaping por alunos;
- Crises de saúde mental dos alunos, incluindo depressão, bullying e ideação suicida;
- impacto das redes sociais na estabilidade emocional e autoestima; e
- Questões de confiança entre escolas, famílias e aplicação da lei.
