El Sol Science & Arts Academy
An Excellent Public School

Dear COL Thomas Keegan,

I am writing to express my sincere appreciation for the DARE program at El Sol Science and Arts Academy. The program was initiated in October 2022 with participation from 3rd and 8th grade students and taught exclusively by SSG Fernando Lopeziniguez.

I am delighted to report that the program has been highly effective in educating our students in the dangers of drug and alcohol use, as well as other risky behaviors. SSG Fernando Lopeziniguez has been an exceptional instructor, and his commitment to the DARE program is evident in the connections he has made with students and the progress our students have made.

The DARE program has been integrated seamlessly into our extended day program and we have seen a significant positive impact on our students’ decision-making skills. Our students have become more aware of the potential consequences of their actions and they have demonstrated a greater willingness to make responsible choices.

I cannot overstate the importance of the DARE program in our school. It has provided our students with tools they need to navigate difficult situations and make informed decisions. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with the program, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with the DARE program in the future.

Thank you for your support of the DARE program and its mission. It is our hope that the program will continue to thrive and benefit our students for years to come.

Sincerely,
