OPENING OF THE PROERD INSTRUCTORS TRAINING COURSE 2022
This Tuesday morning (13th) the opening of the Training Course for Instructors of the Educational Program for Resistance to Drugs and Violence – PROERD was held, at the headquarters of the 9th BEIC/Vitória da Conquista.
The students were welcomed by the course’s Executive and Pedagogical Coordination. The PROERD Training Center of the Military Brigade of Rio Grande do Sul acts as the training facilitator, through Maj BM Karine and Sd BM Teresa, with PROERD mentors from the PMBA as faculty. Colonel QOPM Ivanildo da Silva, Police Commander of the Southwest Region, accompanied by the other officers of the CPR-SO, and the Commander of the 9th BEIC, Lieutenant Colonel QOPM José Andrade de Souza Junior, greeted the participants of the educational event.
Colonel QOPM Ivanildo highlighted the importance of training police officers to work with School Communities, strengthening the Corporation’s preventive action.
The State Program Coordinator, Lieutenant Colonel QOPM Eurico Silva Costa Filho, representing the Department of Community Police and Human Rights, emphasized the importance of strengthening the application of PROERD with the training of new Instructors to offer a service of greater excellence in enforcement of school policing.
